I had submit this again because when I submitted it for print, it just disappeared. It was messed up from the beginning anyways (I couldn't see all of the comments). I hope it doesn't get messed up again. Anyways lets see if I can remember what I had here before:


This piece was more of a learning experience than anything, and I'm happy with the outcome. Even though this style is really overused at this point, I just couldn't resist making my own attempt at it. Original size and print size is 1500x3000 @ 300 dpi. Now for stock links:

About the Daily Deviation and the ripping accusations:

To start, I never asked for a DD, and I really wouldn't have chosen this piece to be one, considering I did use Shiny's work as reference. Also, if any of you ever took the time to read what I said about it before calling it a rip, I said that this style is whored, but I figured I would try my hand at it. I agree it came out well, but as many of you stated, the real credit goes to SB, not me.

It's actually funny because I got off dA about 3 AM last night, and I signed on at about 12:48 today and I was shocked to see how many more pageviews and such I had on this. I did read each and every comment, and I feel that a part of my reputation has been altered (in a not so good way) because this was chosen as a DD, and it really should not have been. As for the ripping, last time I checked, using other people's work as inspiration (espically when you're just a 17 year old kid who's been doing this for less than a year), was not ripping or copyright infringement in any way...

As I said before, I made this to learn...credit should go to Shinybinary:

- He is the one who pioneered this style of type, I just simply imitated it for the sake of knowledge.
